Marion's Speed Dating #2
Tuesday, April 29th
After our first foray into speed dating in February we are planning our second fun night.
Marion's Speed Dating is created for those who want to get out and meet
some new faces here in Manhattan. We've been wanting to play around
with this for a while, and have had overwhelming responses to "just do
it!".
Some of you may be wondering, "Just what IS Speed Dating?". Speed
Dating is a form of meeting someone in a setting where you actually
planned to meet someone. No awkwardness allowed. You get to call the
shots. You get three minutes sitting accross from someone and the two
of you get to spend that short time "feeling it out". The great thing
about speed dating is that you don't have to marry everyone you meet,
it's just a chance to see if a real date is a possibility. Consider
this a new social network for you. It's a very common way to interact
with people, plus, you get your flirting abilities back on the market!
The catch? YOU, you're the catch, so let us help you help yourself find
someone interesting. Just when you thought you've delt the date card
and want to fold the game, we are here to rebound you out of your funk.
Let's Speed Date!
There will be 3 seating sections:
1. Women for Women
2. Men for Men
3. Men for Women
-Dinner will be prior to the actual speed dating game at 7:30pm (All
people attending speed dating will have a reservation for dinner)
-It's a $35 Prix Fixe (dinner, plus 2 drink tickets/ pre-paid by credit card)
-During the speed dating process a cocktail waitress will be taking care of your drinking needs.
SPEED DATING RULES:
1. You get 5 minutes with each person.
2. Your section will work in a clockwise motion.
3. Come prepared! Business cards, email addresses, etc.
